Short-Term Disability: IRD provides short-term disability payments of 50% of your most recent base salary if you become disabled due to a non-work-related illness or accident and are unable to work.

Long-Term Disability: Employees are covered by IRD’s group long-term disability insurance policy, currently provided by UNUM. Your coverage amount will be equal to 50% of your monthly salary to a maximum of US$4,000 per month. IRD will pay the full cost of this coverage for you.
