Donors and Partners
IRD works in collaboration with a wide range of organizations. These include U.S. and foreign government agencies, bilateral and international donor organizations, international finance organizations, faith-based organizations, advocacy groups, international and local NGOs, U.S. corporations and members of the U.S. Congress.
As necessary, IRD posts solicitations for sub-contractor services as required by our donor agreements. If you are interested in providing services in some of the countries where we work, please check our solicitations page for recent RFPs and updates.
IRD also partners specifically with SunNight solar to provide long-lasting, solar-powered flashlights to people in developing countries. The BoGo Light’s solar-paneled handle recharges three AA batteries to provide 6-8 hours of illumination every night, and only needs to change batteries every two years using an efficient, eco-friendly technology; flashlights will be donated through IRD to people in Sudan and Chad each time one is purchased in the United States. The gift of light can be made by visiting the BoGo Program’s Web site at www.BoGoLight.com.
And recently, IRD has begun exploring a partnership with 1800PetMeds, America's largest pet pharmacy, to help supply veterinary medicines and vaccines that are so often essential to agricultural development. We'll keep you updated as that partnership develops.
